In the present context, pressure from society to reduce man’s impact on the environment is increasing. The sector has integrated these concerns into a responsible attitude, relayed to their suppliers by the industrialists.

• To define practices which are respectful of the environment
• To raise the operators’ awareness of the impact of their activity on the environment
• To direct research programmes towards the improvement of environmental impact 

To be attentive to economic and territorial partners for the setting up of cooperative actions
